Miix™️ is founded by industry veteran, Hilary Borndahl. Having spent her career on the supplier side, Hilary learned the art and science of Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM) during her role at The Modeling Group, a Nielsen boutique, in the 2000s, for which she is often quoted telling her story of 'falling in love with marketing mix'.
Hilary has held leadership roles at global firms Kantar and Nielsen, building talent and driving accelerated growth in the Advanced Analytics practices while consulting for Marketers and Insights leaders at Fortune 500 companies. Prior to this, she built her knowledge base of Marketing Research at firms including Hotspex, Maritz, and Thompson Lightstone, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Marketing Management from the University of Guelph, Gordon S. Lang School of Business.
Based in Oakville, Ontario, where she is a mother to three daughters and dog Mason, Hilary enjoys SUP on Lake Ontario, gardening, building lego and puzzles, and exploring nature with her family. Hilary plays an active role in building & supporting the community as co-founder of the charity group 'WishListSEO' and former Community Guider with Girl Guides of Canada.
Passionate about advancing all women, Hilary is the Partnership Lead for the Network of Executive Women (NEW) Toronto chapter.
Rachel Jenkins is a 2021 graduate of the Lang School of Business Economics, holding a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Marketing Management Co-op, and a certificate in leadership. Rachel found her passion for marketing when she helped execute a 5,000 person technology conference with Canada's largest software company.
During her education, Rachel completed six co-op terms at various companies including OpenText, Communitch, RBC, Manulife and Axonify focusing on brand, digital, event and social media marketing. Rachel has been with Miix since February 2021 and is passionate about bringing creative data-driven strategies to life
Rachel calls Kitchener-Waterloo home, but has travelled to over 27 countries, her favourites include Switzerland and France! In her free time Rachel enjoys walking her dog Cooper, skiing in Collingwood, wake surfing in Muskoka or jumping on her peloton (thanks covid!)
Chanelle McLeod is a Data and Visualization Analyst. She began her education journey at Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating in 2019 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in French.
Her experience at Laurier has provided several co-op opportunities in a variety of industries, including technology, finance, insurance, and consulting. After completing these internships, Chanelle found her passion for data analysis, which lead her to return to school to study Business Insights and Analytics at Humber College in 2020.
Chanelle enjoys being active by playing soccer on a women's league, and aims to receive her PADI Advanced Open Water certificate in 2021.
She also plays an active role in educating parishes in the GTA about sustainability as a member of the Bishop's Committee on Creation Care and leader, for the Communications sub-committee.
